This truly N. American cutting board features Spalted Maple in the center flanked by Red Oak. Spalting is caused by insects injecting fungus into the living tree, causing the interesting colored stripes.
This boad has a juice groove and is easily maintained by washing gently with a soapy sponge. Revive it with mineral oil as needed.
